Day 25 – 6 February 2025
Day 1 at the Purushottama Yoga Retreat began with mantra chanting, aarti at the Sri Guru Babaji shrine, and yoga asanas, setting the pace for what was to come.
Annadaanam Seva continues like clockwork. Alongside it, a small dakshina offering is made to every sadhu who visits Yogadham’s Annadaanam counter. This simple yet meaningful practice has been carried out consistently for nearly a month now.
The participants—comprising people from different parts of the world—spent the rest of the day perfecting Mantra Pushpam. This was the ideal preparation for the Purushottama Yoga chanting session, which began at 4 p.m. with the Gita Dhyana shlokas.
As evening approached, the retreat took on a different rhythm. Bhajans and mantra chanting were thoughtfully planned and led, creating a seamless flow. When the group chanted together, their voices merged as one. The Dhuni Puja was accompanied with the sound of mantras, followed by more bhajans, bringing the day to a close.
Each day unfolds with the same focus, devotion, and a sense of belonging to something greater than oneself.
