Sri M arrives for Triveni Shibir at Yogadham

Day 14 – 26 January 2025

Day 14 at Yogadham started with the reverberation of Sanskrit mantras chanted in unison by the participants. This was followed by the traditional aarti at the Sri Guru Babaji shrine accompanied by the chanting of sacred mantras, blowing of the conch, and the beats of the damaru. Blissful silent meditation and a yoga session specifically for senior citizens ushered in the day beautifully.

As participants from far and wide started trickling in to attend the Triveni Shibir, the volunteers organized an orientation session for them before the much-awaited arrival of Sri M in the afternoon. He was accorded a warm welcome with a traditional pada puja and aarti as the Sri Suktam and Sanyasa Suktam were chanted even as a band with dhols and tutaris added a festive air to Sri M’s return to Yogadham.

With a steady stream of hungry and tired pilgrims arriving for Mouni Amavasya, the volunteers at Yogadham continued to support them with lunch and dinner even as the chai seva continued in the evening for the teeming crowds.

In the evening, Sri M performed Dhuni Puja as the chanting of the Agni Suktam, Ganapati Ghanapaata, Narayanopanishad, Narayana Suktam, and Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra Ghanapaata culminated with a quiet meditation.
