Day 2 – 13 January 2025
The serene chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa and the Rudram ushered in the first day of the MahaKumbh at Yogadham. Sri M offered the ceremonial aarti at the shrine of Sri Guru Babaji and Maheshwarnath Babaji and lit the Akhand Jyot marking the beginning of this 47-day spiritual journey.
A Bhoomi Puja and Dhwaja Puja was conducted during the Dhwaja Sthambha Sthapanam, a ceremonial installation of the wooden staff that bears the Yogadham flag, signifying the establishment of divine energy and sanctifying the space.
During the first satsang of the Sankranti Shibir, two books: Yoga for All, a guide to yoga practices, and Mantra: A Yantra for the Mind, exploring the power of sacred sounds were launched. Sri M then shared the significance of the Kumbh, connecting its spiritual essence to the Samudra Manthan.
Sri M also offered Sadhu Seva, honoring and serving sadhus with humility and love. The daily annadaanam seva will be offered to sadhus, pilgrims, and spiritual seekers during the next 47 days.
