Exploring the Four Yogic Paths

Day 32 – 13 February 2025

Yesterday, our “Four Yogic Paths” retreat at Yogadham concluded with a vibrant day dedicated to  real-world applications of Raja and Bhakti Yoga. Participants engaged deeply in discussions and journaling exercises, reflecting on how to integrate the teachings into their daily lives.

The session began by revisiting the inspiring story of Mirabai, whose devotion to Krishna serves as a profound example of Bhakti Yoga. In our Raja Yoga discussion, attendees brainstormed practical ways to incorporate the eight limbs of yoga into their everyday routines. The group shared strategies for maintaining mental discipline amid daily responsibilities, highlighting the importance of consistency and sincerity in practice.

The day concluded with participants making personal resolutions on how to carry forward the essence of the retreat. They committed to specific practices such as setting aside daily meditation time, performing acts of kindness, or using journaling as a tool for self-reflection and spiritual growth.

It was a day filled with actionable insights, leaving each participant equipped with practical steps to transform their daily lives through the wisdom of yoga.
