Chanting Mantras to perfection at Yogadham

Day 27 – 8 February 2025

Day 3 of the Purushottama Yoga Retreat continued with the chanting of the Dakshinamurthy Stotram, a Sanskrit hymn dedicated to Lord Dakshinamurthy, a form of Lord Shiva revered as the teacher of teachers. Depicted as facing the south, he is the silent guru who reveals truth not through words but through his presence. The chanting honours the wisdom that leads seekers beyond illusion toward self-realization.

This final day of the Purushottama Yoga Retreat brought a sense of harmony and completion. Participants having learnt Chapter 15 completely, gathered once again, their voices flowing together as an offering to the Akhand Dhuni, the sacred fire, marking the end of the retreat.
